I’ve been a dog lover for as long as I can remember. Growing up, we were always a “dog family,” moving all around the world my Navy family. No matter where life took us, there was always a wagging tail to make the new house feel like home.
When I joined the Navy myself it was hard to have a dog in-between deployments and living on a ship, so I started working for Rover and volunteering at shelters mainly to meet some amazing dogs along the way. I loved every minute of it, but it also taught me something important—many dog owners are looking for more than just convenience. They want someone they can truly trust, someone who cares about their dog as much as they do.
That hit home when I adopted Arya, my dalmatian, towards the end of my time in the Navy. Arya quickly became my sidekick, and I realized how hard it was to find care for him that felt right. It was more than just finding someone to feed or walk him—I wanted someone who’d treat him like family. A few years and a few moves later, that’s why I started this business: to give dogs and their owners the kind of care I always wanted for Ayra.
Carolyn is the owner of Fetch! Pet Care of Greater Chicago. A lifelong Chicagoan, she’s been in business since 2007.
Nikki is an all around animal lover and has owned a variety of pets including leopard. My passion for animals stems way back to my childhood.
Juliana is a lover of all animals, especially cats! Born and raised in Tennessee. I was born and raised in the city of Chicago.
